Something Brewery has been pouring creative, small-batch beers from the heart of Historic Downtown Brighton since 2014. Founders Brian Castillo and David Allegrezza started home-brewing together in 2012, and the brewery they built carries the tagline "an uncommon and creative brewing company." Its home on North Main Street has made it a gathering spot for Brighton's growing community and an easy stop for anyone exploring the east side of Boulder County.
The tap list leans experimental. Regulars reach for Haze & Juice, a hazy New England-style IPA, alongside crowd-pleasers like the Honey Blonde Ale and the Oreo Vanilla Milk Stout, and the brewery has built a following for a signature line of tea-infused brews. Weekend food trucks roll up to the patio, and the outdoor seating is dog-friendly, so it is easy to settle in for an afternoon of flights with friends and four-legged company.
The reviews back up the reputation. Something Brewery carries a roughly 4.8-star rating on Google from more than 500 reviews and a 4.6-star average on Yelp, with visitors praising the friendly staff, the laid-back downtown setting, and the willingness to try something new. For Brighton residents and visitors alike, it is proof that a great taproom can anchor a small Main Street just as well as any big-city block.
